Our Beloved Jack

So, I'm going to try to do some catching up here on the blog so everyone can see how Ella has grown and enjoyed much of 2010 with friends and family. First, we must say a good-bye. Our beloved cat Jack spent much of the first months of the year very ill with bone cancer. When he was diagnosed the vet said that he could eat whatever he wanted as we tried to make him comfortable in his final days (months really for which we were really grateful). So, as you can see, he and Ella had many ice cream and yogurt treats together in the 4 1/2 months that we cared for him. As you can imagine, explaining what was about to happen to him was a challenge and we had some rough moments along the way, but with the help of friends, family, teachers and some great books, we were able to enjoy him and create some very special memories. Thanks to everyone who made that possible. We miss you Jack, every day. From Ella, WE LOVE YOU JACK!
