My Little Ballerina

It is really funny how little ones decide that they love something. A while ago I bought Ella some real ballet slippers (amazingly they have the genuine ABT shoes at Payless of all places) and she loves them. She dances around the house on her tiptoes and tells everyone that she is doing her "backerina" dance. She even takes a bow (or many) during these performances. It is so much fun to watch her. On Tuesday when I got home from work she and Grammy both told me that Ella said she "needs" a tutu. On Wednesday her friend Rachel let her borrow hers for the day but taking it off when it was time to go home was another matter. So, yesterday I found a little tutu at a craft store and brought it home for her. When we got home from dinner with Aunt Ileana and Sophie and Ella saw that tutu, you should have seen her face! One of the best purchases ever! Now we just have to get her enrolled in a ballet class.
