We've Arrived in China
Hi Everyone-
It has been a very long day (in excess of 24 hours of travel time as a matter of fact). As Rob would say, if there's a "slow boat to China" we took it! We did a lot of sitting and waiting around but the good news is that by the time our delayed flight arrived in Nanchang (the capital of Ella's province) our luggage arrived in maybe 5 minutes (it appeared that other than us, the airport was closed) and the guide from HFS met us and took us straight to the hotel. It was so comforting to have someone meet us and know where we are going!
Tomorrow we should get our adjoining rooms so no unpacking this evening. We know that the other families arrive at the airport sometime after noon and then should be here at the hotel by around 2:00 pm. We have a group meeting at 3:00 pm and then off to get the girls at 5:00 pm. I do think that my earlier prediction that we would have pictures up by the time you get to work tomorrow is a bit hopeful. We have now changed the time to by the end of your workday. There should be plenty of photos, it is just a matter of having the time to download them and access the computer depending on how she is doing.
It is time for both of us to get some sleep! Talk to you tomorrow.
